1. Fees once paid is non-refundable and non-transferrable
2. Legal jurisdiction of Gurgaon is applicable to matters arising within its territorial boundaries. It is imperative to recognise that legal matters pertaining to Gurgaon fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the relevant courts and authorities within this geographical area. Any legal concerns or disputes should be addressed and adjudicated in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations governing the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
3. The training sessions will be facilitated by the designated trainer, adhering to the pedagogical methodologies determined by Ocean English Academy.
4. The extent of improvement is contingent upon the current proficiency level of the students, the regularity of their attendance, and the completion of assessments
5. In case of any emergency or leave, a grace period of 12 days will be allowed for the student in training. Post this grace period, student will have to renew their admission.
6. Institute will issue study material to a student to enable effective learning. The student should be responsible for his/her study material. If a study material is lost, he/she can avail one by paying a fee
Students’ Learning Pace and Age:
At Ocean English Academy, we acknowledge the impact of each student’s learning pace and age on their language improvement journey. While we are committed to promising a hundred percent improvement to all our students, we must emphasize the importance of considering individual abilities and prior educational achievements. Our refund policy is applicable only to students who have scored a minimum of 65% in their board exams, as it reflects a moderate grasping ability, for which the Institute can take responsibility for their improvement. However, we understand that learning a second language can be a gradual process, especially for individuals who may have weaker academic performance or are over the age of 30. Therefore, the 100% improvement policy is not applicable to this specific group of students. By enrolling in Ocean English Academy, students acknowledge and agree to abide by this legally binding policy regarding the applicability of the 100% improvement guarantee based on academic scores and individual learning capabilities.
Student Responsibility:
To avail of the Hundred Percent Improvement or Money Back Guarantee, students must actively participate in classes, diligently study, and demonstrate dedication and passion towards their learning journey. Negativity, spreading false information, or poisoning other students’ minds are not acceptable behaviors, and may lead to dismissal from the Institute.
Student Conduct:
Students are expected to respect the Institute’s ethics, guidelines, and the authority of our trainers. Any student found engaging in disruptive behavior, defaming the reputation of the brand, or hindering the learning environment may be dismissed from the Institute, and fees will be deducted for the classes attended.
Trainer’s Capacity:
It is important to note that our trainers handle a substantial number of students, and they have successfully taught thousands of individuals. If a student claims a lack of improvement, it is essential to consider the trainer’s track record and the significant number of successful students they have taught.
Valid Claims:
For a refund claim to be valid, the trainer responsible for teaching the student should have at least 25 dissatisfied students out of a minimum of 1000 students who have not been benefited from their teaching. This condition ensures a fair assessment of the trainer’s capabilities and effectiveness.
Refund Process:
To request a refund, the student must communicate their concerns in writing, stating the reasons for their dissatisfaction and providing evidence of fulfilling their responsibilities as outlined in the Institute’s protocols.
The Institute will assess the claim, considering the factors mentioned above, and determine the refund amount accordingly.
Decision Finality:
The Institute’s decision regarding refund requests and dismissals will be final and binding. We reserve the right to dismiss any student who violates the Institute’s ethics or disrupts the learning environment.
